NaturePins respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects our users to do the same. This policy explains how to report content on NaturePins that you believe infringes your copyright or other intellectual property rights.
Reporting copyright infringement
If you believe that content on NaturePins (such as a photo, review text, or other user-uploaded material) infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to:
Email: support@naturepins.app Subject line: Copyright Takedown Request
Your notice should include:
- Your contact details: Your full name, email address, and phone number (optional).
- Identification of the copyrighted work: A description of the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed. If a photo, include the original image or a link to where it was originally published.
- Identification of the infringing content: A link to or clear description of the content on NaturePins that you believe infringes your rights, including the location page or user profile where it appears. Be as specific as possible so we can locate it.
- Statement of good faith: A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- Statement of accuracy: A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or are authorised to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
- Your signature: A physical or electronic signature (typing your full name is sufficient for email notices).
What happens after you report
Acknowledgement: We will acknowledge receipt of your notice within 3 business days.
Review: We will review your notice and the reported content. If the notice is complete and the claim appears valid, we will remove or disable access to the infringing content promptly, typically within 5 business days.
Notification to the uploader: We will notify the user who uploaded the content that it has been removed due to a copyright claim. We may provide them with your name and the nature of the complaint (but not your contact details) so they can understand why their content was removed.
Incomplete notices: If your notice is missing required information, we will let you know what is needed. We cannot act on incomplete notices.
Counter-notices
If your content has been removed due to a copyright claim and you believe the removal was in error (for example, you own the rights to the photo, or your use constitutes fair dealing under Australian law), you may submit a counter-notice to support@naturepins.app.
Your counter-notice should include:
- Your full name and contact details.
- Identification of the content that was removed and where it appeared.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the content was removed in error or as a result of misidentification.
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales, Australia.
- Your signature (typing your full name is sufficient).
Upon receiving a valid counter-notice, we will forward it to the original complainant. If the complainant does not commence legal proceedings within 14 business days, we may restore the removed content.
Repeat infringers
NaturePins will terminate the accounts of users who are found to be repeat copyright infringers. We consider a user to be a repeat infringer if they have received two or more valid copyright takedown notices.
Trademark concerns
If you believe that content on NaturePins infringes your trademark rights, please contact us at support@naturepins.app with a description of the trademark, the infringing content, and your contact details. We will review trademark complaints on a case-by-case basis.
Good faith
We take all intellectual property reports seriously, but we also protect our users from abusive takedown requests. Submitting a false or misleading copyright notice may result in legal liability. Do not submit a takedown request to remove a negative review or content you simply disagree with — copyright claims are for genuine intellectual property infringement only.
